Loc8R is a novel and cost effective software which will facilitate fast and highly accurate positioning, wherever you are. Using technology which maximises a hybrid approach to getting location fixes it will significantly improve the accuracy of location data in urban and indoor areas where GPS is less accurate.

Experience with even the most sophisticated of GPS devices shows that if you are not in good ‘line of sight’ of satellites your position will degrade to Cell ID − up to 300 metres.

Loc8R achieves 99% urban and indoor coverage as opposed to A−GPS which typically results in between 30 − 70% coverage.

Loc8R operates through exploitation of the best technology available on a device − linking into the Loc8R patent applied for algorithms as well as any available GPS, A −GPS, WiFi and/or Bluetooth to get consistent, accurate and quick results.

In trials, Loc8R location fixes in less than 1s with 1 − 5M accuracy in 99% of locations.
